Did you know

Frankincense was considered a prized possession in ancient times?  It was as valuable as many precious gems and metals, and was the major economic resource of some Arabic Countries.

Just as in Arabic society, frankincense was originally the most effective scent for attracting divine blessings and dispersing evil spirits in Hebraic culture, and it was carefully guarded in a special chamber within the Temple along with all the ingredients used to make the sacred incense.

In his Spiritual PhytoEssencing Materia Medica, Dr. Bruce Berkowsky’s says that Frankincense is all about breath on all levels physical and spiritual.  There is a theme of maintaining control but this can lead to paralysis of both emotional and spiritual development.
